GP practice assistant

The assistant will be the first to talk to you when you call the practice, she makes appointments or gives you advice. She knows answers to many practical questions, for example about references and recipes. You can also call her for urine or blood test results.

The assistants are available by phone from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

After making an appointment you can also contact the assistants for:

  • removing stitches
  • bandaging wounds
  • squirting the ears
  • measuring blood pressure
  • an injection
  • an ECG (heart video)
  • a PAP smear
  • a hearing test
  • a urine test
  • various simple blood tests (Hb, CRP, glucose)
