POH-GGZ, mental health worker

In our practice, Harry Berens and Marian Verweij work as mental health workers. Also called SPV'er (social psychiatric nurse).

They support the general practitioner in examining and treating patients with psychological complaints.
They can also determine which care best suits your situation. The SPV advises the doctor on a possible treatment or guides you yourself in the form of a number of supportive conversations. In some cases the SPV advises you and your doctor to refer you, for example to a social worker or to a psychologist or psychiatrist. The SPV reporters to your doctor, the doctor remains responsible for your treatment.
Of course you will also be treated with strict confidentiality.
